Is there a tutorial exam I can take?

Are breaks allowed during my exam?

Candidates are permitted to leave the examination room for washroom breaks, only if necessary; however, the timer does not pause and additional time is not added to compensate. Upon return to the examination room candidates will be asked to re-pan/re-scan the room with their webcam for the proctor. Washroom breaks over 10-minutes or frequent washroom breaks will be flagged as an incident.

What is permissible during the exam?
  • Candidates will be asked to have a mirror/reflective surface to show their workstation.
  • Candidates may have a beverage in a clear spill proof container
  • Non-Programmable scientific calculator
  • You will be permitted to bring in one dry erase board, no larger than 8 ½ by 11 inches, and dry erase marker/eraser. Please note – tablets or electronic writing pads are NOT permitted. You will be required to show the proctor your white board and marker/eraser prior to starting your exam. IMPORTANT: You MUST erase your white board and show your proctor it is erased before closing out of your exam. This is a mandatory requirement and if not followed, will be investigated for potential breach of the Candidate Statement of Understanding. The whiteboard must stay in the examination room for the duration of the exam.
